Do you feel as if no one understands you or what you are going through? Do you feel like you need to get some things off your chest, but worry that others won’t “get it” or will judge you? I am a licensed clinical social worker who works with teens and young-midlife adults to explore, understand, and change the feelings and patterns that are blocking your greater fulfillment and happiness. I am also an LGBTQA/gender-affirming, experienced therapist. I am passionate about working with teens and young adults of all backgrounds to alleviate common concerns such as peer pressure, school and work stress, relationship struggles, family issues, emotional dysregulation, and issues with self-esteem / self-image.

My therapy approach is simple: I provide a warm, caring, non-judgmental environment where you can freely share your thoughts and feelings. As we start to understand your feelings and what you are experiencing, we will create an “action plan” (therapy plan) to resolve whatever life is throwing at you. And don’t worry –  I won’t ask that stereotypical therapy question: “How does that make you feel?” Come as yourself and tell me what’s on your mind. Zero judgment. I look forward to connecting with you!

Outside of the therapy office, I am a Dog Mom to two very spoiled Shih Tzus, Jackson and Stella. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Other hobbies and interests include shopping, comedy shows, trying out various coffee shops, reading, listening to TEDTalks, and attending professional conferences/training events. Last but not least, I enjoy singing, music, and art. There is about as much chance of my becoming a popstar or professional artist as there is of my dogs speaking English, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying signing and painting!
