Crystal Anderson, LPC, NCC

The struggle is real! As a parent of four children, I’ve walked in shoes heavy with stress and fatigue. I believe as a parent, you are the expert on your own child. My goal is to partner with you and work together on achieving a relational balance between you and your child. Frederick Douglas once said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” Therapy is a journey utilizing your tools to “build” a strong relationship with your child.

I begin each counseling relationship by meeting you where you currently are. We will often uncover patterns and belief systems from the past and discover how the past is influencing things in the present. Once uncovered, we move forward by making change! I strive to be down-to-earth, genuine, and real with clients. I’m very casual and enjoy using (sometimes silly) analogies and metaphors to bring real life application to our therapy sessions. I look forward to the opportunity to join you on your therapy journey.

My home is a combination of one wonderful husband, four amazing children, one little Yorkie, and one lop-eared bunny. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, and biking. I also enjoy running, buying local, and essential oils, and I love all things chocolate. I am a firm believer that when (not if!) life gives us lemons, make lemonade. Adding chocolate is always an option!
