Licensed Psychologist

Position Description

  • Provide psychological evaluations in our Carlisle and/or Chambersburg offices, including trauma-focused psychological evaluations and mental health assessments for youth involved with the juvenile justice system.
    • While we do not currently provide autism evaluations, there is a great need for such evaluations in the community. We welcome applicants experienced in evaluating for Autism Spectrum Disorders!

  • May also provide outpatient therapy to children, teens, and/or families.
  • This is a part-time opportunity with daytime hours only.

What We Provide

  • Billing, credentialing, and intake scheduling.
  • A competitive rate of reimbursement. (This is a fee-for-service position, paid as a percentage of revenue received. Average rate for a part-time psychologist is $64 to $79 per 55-minute therapy session and $48 to $71 per hour of psychological testing.)

What We Are Looking For

  • A psychologist licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
  • At least three years of clinical experience with children and teens.
  • Skill conceptualizing the impact of trauma on symptoms, relationships, and functioning. Knowledgeable about the role of attachment in child development. Strong background in child development and psychopathology.
  • Experience with young children (ages 3+).
  • Someone who enjoys working with clients from a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Must meet state requirements for background check and clearances and provide record of vaccination against COVID19.
