Therapy teaches children the skills that school does not – the social-emotional skills that children need to grow, flourish, and overcome whatever life throws at them. We all have stressful, difficult, or even traumatic experiences in life. How your child learns to cope with these challenges is part of what will help him or her become a productive, resilient person. Therapy is about growth, learning, and healing. The tools and skills learned in therapy can be helpful to anyone!

As the parent of three children, I understand that each child is different and has unique gifts and challenges. My goal is to build upon your child’s and family’s strengths, to help your child better cope with life’s challenges and to appreciate the one-of-a-kind person they are.
