Accepted Insurance Plans: Steph accepts Capital Blue Cross, Highmark, out-of-area BC/BS Plans, and Quest, and can see individuals with CHIP for any of these plans. She will soon be in-network with Geisinger and UPMC. Steph can also see clients using their insurance out-of-network and self-pay clients.

Credentials & Special Training: Steph graduated from Millersville University with her Masters in Social Work. She has extensive training in DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) and has also been trained in Exposure and Responsive Prevention Therapy (to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder). She will be completing training in EMDR this spring. Steph is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

My name is Steph! Whether you’re struggling with past traumas, navigating identity and relationships, or managing overwhelming emotions, I am here to support you. I am a trauma-focused therapist treating teens and adults, with a special focus on the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. I also treat anxiety, depression, and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder).

Using evidence-based therapies, I’ll tailor our time together to meet your unique needs and goals. We’ll honor your strengths too, emphasizing your inner resources as we navigate challenging times together. Depending on what you need, we might work on challenging unhelpful ways of thinking or behaving, increasing your ability to manage and accept your emotions, build your resiliency, and enhance problem-solving.

I am dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive space for you to navigate difficult emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Since I provide online therapy, we’ll meet using a secure video platform. I’ll always be in a private, confidential space and I’ll use my training and experience to guide your therapy, just like I would if we were meeting in the office.

On a Personal Note: Outside of therapy, I very much identify as a hobbit. I like to live a simple and peaceful life, surrounded by a close circle of friends and family. I enjoy quiet activities like cooking/baking, crafting, and tending to my houseplants. When I’m not enjoying the comforts of home, I’m usually attending a concert, spending time in nature, or exploring antique stores and bookshops. I love animals and have two cats of my own, Domino and Mr. Bee.
